Website Makeover

The Remix Dance Academy Website has recently undergone a makeover.

www.remixdance.ca

The new site has a new URL address www.remixdance.ca which is easier to remember.  remixda.com was short, but awkward.  It's hard to explain too, cause people wondered what the "da" meant - it represented "Dance Academy".  remixdance.com is being held at ransom, a very high ransom indeed by some domain hoarder, so we were unable to purchase it (yet ;).  Anyhow, we are a Canadian company and we are proud of that, so it makes sense to have remixdance.ca as our address.  We'll be updating all our email addresses and marketing material too over the next year.  For the time being, any attempts to reach remixda.com will be automatically redirected to remixdance.ca.

That's exactly what we have done, we are Keeping It Super Simple. The new site contains a lot less clutter making the content easier to find and we have simplified the registration process too.  This will make it much easier for people to register for our events.  We also have setup some easy links to access the Student Login and the Student/Parent information.

Spiffier Design

We're also pretty proud of our new look and feel. We've really tightened up the look and put in a flashy new slide show on the home page called the Spotlight - this will keep you informed on what's happening with us.  The rich pictures will help too as they really grab attention.  We also threw down some important social networking links on the footer so you can easily find us anywhere on the web - wherever you are :)
